Holiday Food, Winter Clothing and Toy Drive

Your donations will support our students and local organizations. Each item contributed helps our climber go 50' higher. Check out the bulletin board near the lounge to track our progress!

Items will be used for holiday meals and for the school food pantry

Extra items will be donated to Springs Rescue Mission

All toys will go to Memorial Hospital's Children's Wing

Everest College Pumpkin Carving Contest

Bring your freshly carved pumpkin to school on Monday, October 31st for display and judging in the Student Lounge.

Students can purchase ballots/tickets in the Student Lounge between classes. Tickets are $.25 each or 5 for $1.00. Prizes for winning pumpkins!

Voting will be from Monday morning through noon on Tuesday with winner names posted on the Student Bulletin Board on Wednesday.

Everest College Yard Sale

Date: Saturday, September 24th.

Time: 8 a.m.

Place: Everest College's north parking lot.

This yard sale is a fund raiser to support school holiday activities and to provide Christmas care packages for local nursing home residents.

We Need Your Help!

Donate items that can be sold at the yard sale, such as kid's and adult clothing, toys, furniture, household goods, books electronics, bicycles, decorator items, and more. Bring items to Student Services on September 19th and 20th.

Volunteeer to help with sorting and pricing (September 20th-23rd) or with set-up and sales on the 24th. (see Diane in Student Services.)

Spread the word and let your family and friends know about the sale.

Special Opportunity

Student Entrepreneur Tables

The sale will also include up to 10 tables for student entrepreneurs to advertise their businesses and/or sell products. If you are a student with a business and would like to participate, please contact Diane Dillinger in Student Services for details and to register.

The Pikes Peak Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professional will award one $750 scholarship this year. Medical Assisting, Paralegal and Business Administration students can apply. Applications can be found in the library. These applications must be postmarked no later than Friday, April 8th.

Bake Sale!

Come satisfy your sweet tooth with cakes, cookies, and snacks. It will happen every Monday in April from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts in Japan.

The Library is Now Hiring

The library has an opening for a Federal Work Study student. It pays $8.00 dollars an hour. The hours you will be working in the library are the following:

Tuesday: 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday: 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Thursday: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

To qualify, you must have good grades and attendance. Please do not apply if you are at the end of your program. Applications are located at the front desk.
