Constitution Day

On September 17th, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created.  All citizens are encouraged to observe this important day in our nation's history.  Here on our campus, we will celebrate Constitution Day through trivia, a Bill of Rights contest, and classroom activities.

The Bill of Rights contest is printed on the back of the Everest Update newsletter.  Submit the answers to Matt McNulty in the library and we will draw winners for some fun Everest prizes.

The trivia questions will be posted around the school on each bulletin board. Grab a trivia form from your instructor or from the library and wander through the school to find the questions.  One entry will be drawn to win a dozen patriotic cake pops!

Let's not forget those thirty-nine brave men who changed history for our country by creating and signing the Constitution.  This is the time for us to continue their legacy and develop habits of citizenship in a new generation of Americans.
